The ServSafe® Food Safety Program is a 6-10 week, school-based program for high school students who are interested in owning a restaurant, catering company, are interested in vending food, or are interested in food management after high school. This program supports the Act 158 graduation requirement in Pennsylvania.
Unlike any other program, The Culinary Experience prepares students to learn food safety skills and earn an industry required, ServSafe Certification.
The Culinary Experience also partners with Departments of Corrections, Community-Based Organizations, and State Restaurant Associations to connect young adults ages 18-24 currently in correctional facilities, on parole/probation, or with former justice-involvement with the opportunity to earn a ServSafe Certification before their transition.
The Culinary Experience is listed on the Approved List of Philadelphia's Food Safety Certification Training Courses Providers.
