What is the 360 Hour of Code?

The 360 Hour of Code is a high energy, collaborate, interactive, day long event that  supports and leads students and teachers through real-time computer science projects, social media projects, hands on activities, exhibits, guest speakers, and performers.  Some students engage in project-based computer science activities leading up to The 360 Hour of Code.

All classes and content areas participate in 1 hour of coding and computer science activities throughout the school day and have an opportunity to learn how code is used in daily activities and applied in every content area.

The 360 Hour of Code is when students showcase their computer science project in a science-fair style walking gallery.  Students, staff, parents, and community organizations have an opportunity to engage with the student projects, ask questions, and provide feedback through judging. Students have an opportunity to reflect on what they learned throughout the day and win awards during a final ceremony!

The 360 Hour of Code is a great way to engage and introduce students to computer science, break stereotypes, and inspire and empower students to learn more!  Contact 360 today to begin planning your schools 2023 Hour of Code!
