Instructional Coaching

• Plans, delivers and assists teachers and school teams in effective teaching and student engagement to increase student achievement
• Provides professional development support based on teacher or school site need and uses on-going instructional best practices to meet the needs of individual teachers and students
• Plans and demonstrates effective lessons and activities including the use of appropriate intervention materials for class and small group instruction
• Facilitates engaging learning activities for appropriate school age levels
• Designs and provides professional development to support teachers on delivering instruction, incorporating assessments and interventions into current curriculum
• Develops strategies that connect curriculum, instruction, assessment and professional development for effective and differentiated instruction
• Supports teachers in delivering on-the-spot, in-classroom data-driven instruction
• Supports teachers in creating interventions (strategy groups, conferencing, guided reading groups, etc) based on formal and informal assessment results
• Provides small group instruction and technical support to school staff and students
• Manages implementation and ongoing professional development and progress monitoring of all instructional interventions
• Supports school instructional staff in facilitation of common planning meetings
• Research-based teaching theories and effective
• Practices periodic assessments and on-going informal assessments and strategies to support students based on the results
• Current research regarding communities of learners, instructional practices linked to student achievement, differentiated instruction, mentoring, coaching and emergent technologies
• Academic coaching methodology and practices
• Increasing achievement for all students
• Collecting, analyzing and using data

Listed price is the price per hour for instructional coaching.  Instructional coaches can support up to 30 educators per report period.
